Steps to follow when new orders arrvive

The entire order process is online. You will receive email notifications when new orders arrive, but you will have to log to verify available stock and the dispatching the order.

The Basic Process

  1. You will receive an email when an order has been placed and we have received payment.
  2. Log in to FarmDirect with your email and password that you have selected when you first signed up.
  3. Go to the Sales menue and open Orders.
  4. You will see all the shopping carts that have been created with your products.
  5. Shopping carts that are marked as Quotation are orders that have not been confirmed and paid. Essentially they have beeen abandoned by users during the checkout.
  6. Once the order has been paid, you have to invoice FarmDirect for payment and have to get your order ready for dispatch.
  7. We plan to make packaging available in future for our members, but for now place a hand-written note to all customers congratulating them on their purchase.
